Cynthia Mwende Maswili

Cynthia Mwende Maswili is a Research Assistant on the ERC-funded GEOFORMATIONS Project at Trinity College Dublin. Her current research explores food and nutrition security governance, civil society networks, and development cooperation in Kenya. Drawing on a background in sustainable development, animal science, and project management, she has worked and participated across research, community development, climate resilience, and sustainable food systems initiatives in Kenya, Zambia and Ireland. Her interests include locally led development, governance assemblages, Indigenous and local knowledge systems, food systems transformation, and just sustainability transitions.
