I am currently completing an MSc in Development Practice at Trinity College Dublin. For my dissertation project I am partnering with Nurture Africa to focus on NGO localisation in the Ugandan context. My research aims to contribute to structural change in NGO governance systems and promoting collaboration for sharing localisation strategies.
In 2025 I graduated from the University of St Andrews with an BA in Geography and Sustainable Development. During my studies I developed an interest in energy localisation which informed my undergraduate dissertation project; ‘Understanding Community Perceptions of Renewable Energy Infrastructure in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland: Implications for Future Developments’. The project used justice frameworks to assess differences in local perceptions of community and privately owned renewable energy developments in the unique Outer Hebrides environment. Through this research I became interested in broader discourse surrounding development localisation
In the future I would like to continue to contribute to research framed by community centred development approaches which account for the lived realities of those impacted by change.
