I am currently pursuing an MSc in Development Practice at Trinity College Dublin, where I have had the opportunity to work alongside nonprofit organizations such as CARE International and GOAL Ireland to deepen my understanding of the relationship between international development, humanitarian assistance, and the lived realities of local communities.

My previous research has focused on women’s empowerment, decolonization, environmental sustainability, youth education, and tracking economic flows to developing states. Currently, my dissertation research examines how to bridge the gap between overseas development funding and locally led development and agency.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in International Diplomacy and Human Rights Law from Anglo-American University Prague, where I also engaged with a range of community organizations, including Youth With A Mission and Amnesty International, on initiatives related to women’s empowerment, refugee support, community development, and education. Recently, I participated as a co-author on the academic research project Internal Gender Equality in International Organizations: Role Models or Hypocrites?, presented at the 2023 European Consortium for Political Research Conference. The project examined the gaps between gender equity policies and their implementation within the UN, EU, and Council of Europe frameworks.

Through my collaboration with the GEOFORMS team, I hope to connect my professional and academic experience with my passion for understanding and evaluating global systems and relationships. I aim to contribute to the mission of exploring the complex dynamics between international and local actors in order to improve sustainable development outcomes.
